Feedback from our outreach service

‘The outreach service modelled a whole class teaching session to show how (pupils with SEND) could be fully included in a carpet session’

‘The strategies recommended by the outreach service has helped (my pupils with SEND) develop a love of stories and he will now sit and point/turn the pages of his favourite books’. (SENCO- Enfield School)

‘Since the recommendations from the outreach team, we have adapted our weekly planning format and the use of objects and props and other good practices for pupils with SEND and  these strategies are frequently used’

‘It was really good to see the improvement (my pupils with SEND) has made between visits and to start thinking about the next steps and his transition into year one’.

‘My pupil with SEND) is better able to communicate and express himself since the work with Waverley. His more challenging behaviours have decreased and he is much happier in the classroom’

‘The teacher was new to working with pupils with SEND. The input from Waverley helped her to build her confidence’

‘The parents are very happy with (their child with SEND) progress and are trying some of the suggestions at home’.
