Extra curricular activities
Our pupils enjoy a range of extra curricular activities. The gaps in cultural experiences for pupils is well understood by all and extra curricular activities and opportunities are planned by department leads within the curriculum. It is understood that most of the students at Waverley initially have very little danger awareness and as the students grow older, they gradually learn and develop these important skills (such as road awareness, danger awareness, interaction with others). This results in safer access to the community and the opportunity to enjoy richer experiences as they grow older.
Therefore, pupils Waverley @ Honilands and Waverley @ Bell Lane have 'Xtra days' which offers the opportunities to enrich learning and experience a range of different activities.
The main site have WOW entry and exit activities at the beginning and end of every topic. We take part in competitions and festivals in and around Enfield.
